Eye Candy
For Lemon aka Rin-chan
These past six years have been saiko! Well, not all the time, but my brain kinda filter out the bad ones. So, it’s mostly the nice ones: 12-hour walks around town, those 2-second glimpse of kakkoi strangers (your 2-second rule of attraction), tea in big pink mugs, lying on the grass, looking up at the sky, feeling a tad too tall, colourful bangles and bracelets, running after patients and chocolates from St Anthonys to St Doms, sighing over Crooked Smile, Dr Hobbit, Ohmiya, and even Sho-kun, cooking together, warming hands, learning about opais, itais…
Capturing images in mirrors, playing Heidi, fighting over silly things (Nana-chan will always shake her head and give in), bookshops: Charlie Brynes, the one with the alien holding a book of big opais in Letterkenny, even Easons… Painting clouds, tulips, river… passing notes in class (‘hungrrryyy!!’, ‘cute!!’, ‘bladder full’)… newly discovered chicken wings in Char Coal Grill,
Going to the orchestra, watching live bands, sitting in that spade-tractor-thingy,
Around Ireland car trip in second year, Amsterdam (where you fell), Brussels (where we ate snail-like yummy things) and Berlin (where we met Kristian in Dunkin Donuts) in third year, Rome (climbed all around the ruins), Paris (freezing), Disneyland (fast pass, Indiana Jones on a tummy full of Mr Toad burger) in final year… studying together (have to put this in), getting the title (still uncomfortable with it).
Best of all, getting to know you as a friend, a sister, housemate, classmate, a traveling companion, a member of this exclusive two-girl group of Oh-rina :)
All the very best in the future!
