as an intern.
was brilliant! I love my team, really do. The consultant kept exclaiming “right as a spoon!”, “how are ye doin there?”, “you’re alright” and other McH’s trademark talk.
The reg is cool, as I’ve said before. He asked me to cook for him again because he’s oncall today.
The new SHO, Louise, taught me loads, as did Kieth, the other SHO. I forgot to take my bleep (how in the world do you use a bleep??) and Kieth said he bleeped me a gazillion times and finally had to call my mobile. But he’s alright.
I got my first taste of the Big Bad Xray Doc’s grumpiness this morning when I had to talk to him about a patient’s CT brain. But because I was prepared, all I did was grin and endure. And laughed (quietly) when he turned around. He did the exact same thing as what the old intern told me. Let’s hope none of them reads this blog.
There’s another intern, Sebastian. So, it’s not so bad. We were figuratively biting our nails together this morning.
OK, off for dinner. I’m finally going to cook. Loads to read. Loads to learn. And I hope it’ll be loads of fun as well.
